Introduction

My obsession in reading novels started when I was in Form 2. The urge to read was when my classmates started to show off the thickness of the novels they were reading. I was not a keen reader back then. Trying hard not to lose out to my friends, i picked up Sidney Sheldon's and he is still my number one favourite writer till now (too bad he left us too soon) :(. But why Sidney Sheldon and not Mills and Boon? First, it was mainly because Sidney Sheldon books are thicker and next knowing that i will definitely look cool reading a thick novel (in reference to a 14 year old imbalance hormones girl). However, i got struck with the plot and of course (some 'love' scenes which further discussed in class :P). And these whole experiences of sharing aka 'showing off' what we have read, has finally become a habit! The love for reading is gradually nurtured when i further my studies in the university.

And now, years had gone by, i am still obsess with reading. The smells of a book makes me dizzy with enthusiasm to explore the world created by the writers. I read because it is one way of escapism. I will not elaborate further on the rest of the reasons because they are pretty confidential :P so you readers out there-Go Figure! :p

The birth of this blog is mainly to share my personal views on the books that i have read with fellow readers. Apart from that, it is also to help me to achieve my personal 2010's resolution which is to read at least two books in a month! :D
