Briefly, this novel is about four Chinese Immigrants living in the West. They started The Joy Luck Club and it helped them in finding inner joy despite the difficulties they were facing in order to survive. Although it was pretty confusing at times in identifying who is whose daughter. This is due to lots of flash backs throughout the story as one by one began to unfold their old memories. An extra-ordinary read as it will helps the reader to reflect on his/her life. Most of the time we did not realize how lucky we are. :)
